The New Zealand Vedanta Education Society Incorporated, together with the general public of Auckland, recently celebrated a week of illuminating lectures from Swami Anubhavanandaji of Mumbai, India.
Swamiji’s lecture series on “give and take, faith, concentration or awareness” directly emitting from the fragrance and the sweetness of the Upanishads and the Bhagwat Geeta exhilarated the participants.
The weekend retreat on the topic of “the vedantic spiritual life” proved very engaging and a lot of fun and joy, participants said.
The aim of the society is to promote the importance of spiritual and vedantic philosophical education amongst the residents of New Zealand via lectures, study circles, seminars, retreats, management lectures and cultural programmes.
Regular weekly study circles are held: Vedanta Study Circle, Time: 8.30am to 9.30am, every Saturday at Bhartiya Samaj Hall, 13 May Rd, Mt Roskill, Auckland.
All are invited to participate and learn/engage in the Vedantic spiritual life.
