Elim Tamil Ministry host Christmas in Auckland and Hamilton

The Elim Tamil Ministry of New Zealand celebrated its Christmas celebrations both in Auckland and Hamilton this year. Elim Church celebrated the Auckland event on Saturday, December 8 at the Mount Albert Memorial Hall and on Saturday, December 15 at Agora Events Centre in Hamilton. Both events gathered a total of 400 Tamil-speaking people from the two regions.
The event showcased the story of Christmas entirely in Tamil through a variety of programmes including skits, dances and songs by the children and youth of the ministry.
“It's great to be able to come along and be part of this fantastic celebration. I have never witnessed such a great event amongst Tamil speaking communities here in Auckland,” one of the visitors at the event said.
“It was a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with other Tamil speaking people around Auckland,” he added.
Pastor of the Elim Tamil Ministry VikiVignarajah highlighted the importance of such community-focused events and thanked the guests for their attendance, volunteers for their time and sponsors for their support.
The event concluded with an Indian style dinner.
