An entertainment bonanza is heading your way in Wellington next month.
The Hindu Heritage Association is having its annual Bollywood Show on August 6 at Bharat Bhavan in Kilbirnie.
“This is a special evening where we all can gather and enjoy ourselves,” organiser Shyama Kumar said.
“Like the past three years, it will be full of fun, laughter, many prizes to be won and many more surprises.
It is a great opportunity to see our local artists performing. Those who have attended the shows in the previous years will definitely agree that they were awesome and give a spark in entertainment,” Shyama said.
The evening starts off with a vegetarian dinner followed by a two-hour Bollywood show with lots of surprises, prizes, fun and jokes.
Drinks will be available for sale from a licensed bar.
All proceeds go to the "Wellington Shiva Temple" land located in Island Bay.
So come along and help your community. Tickets went on sale on June 24.
