Bhajan titans set for clash
Auckland bhajan lovers are in for a treat later this month.

Two stalwarts of the art are scheduled to clash in Clendon on Saturday, January 17, at the Clendon Community Centre.

The Bhajan Nite will feature S Rajendra Singh of Canada and Master Jayanti Prasad of Otahuhu, Auckland.

Organiser Robin Hassan said the show had attracted much interest and tickets had been selling well. "This type of function caters for a special audience and bhajan lovers are looking forward to a grand night of entertainment from two of the best in the business."

Tickets ($10) are available from Auckland Indian Sweets & Video at 203 Great South Rd, Manurewa, ph 2688180. Kava and snacks are also expected to be selling on the night at the venue, 117 Palmers Rd, Clendon.
