Some of Auckland's best South Indian musical talent will get together for an annual performance on February 14, Valentine's Day.
The Geethaanjali 2009 takes place at the Dorothy Winstone Centre, in Howe St, Auckland.
The programme, which starts at 6pm, will feature popular film songs from Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malyalam films.
Event organizer Govardhan Mallela said the audience would get to see
and listen to experienced singers as well as some of the most
outstanding young talent in Auckland.
Tickets are available from Yogiji's Food Mart in Mt Roskill, with New
Zealand Tamil Association members, and with Mallella who can be
contacted on 6245923. Adults $10, children $5.
