Rotary Award for Amrita Rao
Rotary Club of Bombay Sea Coast presented 'Vocational Excellence Award' to Bollywood actress Amrita Rao. This was presented to her for her continued social commitment towards the Rotary Club for the past 16 years and also for her versatile portrayal on the silver screen. Her father, Deepak Rao also known as Mastermind to the corporate world presented the award to his proud Rotarian daughter.
Khaiyyaam launches ‘Parichay’
Veteran music director Khaiyyaam launched Saregama’s latest album ‘Parichay’-a compilation of songs from the Golden Era of Hindi film music that are remembered even today.
Khaiyyaam, along with his singer wife Jagjeet, Atul Churamani VP of Saregama and Najma Merchant (Sr. Consultant & Advisor – Content) of Saregama were present at the launch.
“I’m really happy that Saregama came up with this idea of releasing this series. All the songs in the MP3 are the ones which a music lover would love to hear over and over again,” said Khaiyaam.
The album series of “Parichay” has a compilation of songs composed by music composers like Khaiyyaam, Ravi, Roshan, Madan Mohan, Shankar Jaikishan, O P Nayyar, Lakshmikant Pyarelal and Salil Chowdhury.
