Yeddyurappa rejoins BJP

Bangalore, Jan 9 (IBNS): Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Karnataka Janata Paksha (KJP) chief BS Yeddyurappa on Thursday formally merged his party with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
A year after severing links with the party B S Yeddyurappa, whose tenure as Chief Minister was marked by charges of corruption and nepotism; formally rejoined the BJP merging his Karnataka Janata Paksha with the parent party.
He also rejoined the party.
Yeddyurappa on Jan 2 said his party will merge with the BJP and both the parties will fight the 2014 Lok Sabha polls together.
In December 2012, he had formed the KJP after quitting the BJP.
