A woman has been arrested after allegedly firing several shots at the Los Angeles residence of Rihanna, with one bullet reportedly penetrating a wall of the mansion, according to US media reports. Reported by 1News.
The 38-year-old singer was inside the house when the incident took place at around 1.15 pm on Sunday (local time), a law enforcement source told the Los Angeles Times.
Police officers responding to the scene located a 30-year-old woman suspected of being involved in the shooting and took her into custody without further incident.
No injuries were reported in the incident, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) told the outlet.
It remains unclear whether Rihanna’s partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, or their children were present at the home at the time.
Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Fenty, gained global fame in the late 2000s with chart-topping hits including Pon De Replay, Umbrella and Only Girl (In The World).
Beyond music, she has built a successful business empire through her Fenty brand, which includes cosmetics and fashion ventures.
