An increased police presence remains in the Auckland suburb of Epsom this afternoon following an assault that drew armed officers to the scene.
Authorities were dispatched to a property on Liverpool Street at approximately 12:40 PM.
Upon arrival, they located one individual who had sustained moderate injuries.
Three individuals were arrested at the location. While the immediate threat has been contained, a spokesperson for the authorities noted:
"Members of the public may see an increased police presence while enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the assault.
