Spiritual Speaker Sri U.Ve. Dushyanth Sridhar is delivering discourses on Hindu religious matters in Auckland as part of community programs hosted by Saranagathi, an Auckland-based religious society in association with the Vedic Society of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia. The program, titled 'Sri Rama Pattabhishekam', will take place on March 2 at Balmoral Community Centre, 258 Balmoral Road, Sandringham, Auckland, starting at 2.00 PM onwards. An audience interaction session after the program is also expected to take place.
This is not the first time this program is being held. Saranagati New Zealand was formed in 2018 and has invited scholars from India, including Velukkudi Sri Krishnan, to deliver discourses on Sanatana Dharma. During the Covid period, local spiritual speakers like Dr. Rabindranath were invited to enlighten the local Hindu community on their spiritual path as well.
Sri U Ve Dushyanth Sridhar is a highly sought-after Spiritual Speaker with a global following. Born into a Tamil family in Bengaluru, he began his journey into the world of Sanskrit and the Vedas at the age of five. After schooling in Bengaluru and Chennai, he pursued Chemical Engineering and Chemistry at BITS Pilani, graduating in 2008. By the time of his graduation, he had already delivered several Upanyasams (religious discourse lectures). In 2016, he transitioned into a full-time role as a religious scholar and lecturer, delivering talks both in person and on television.

One of the youngest and arguably the wittiest, Sri Dushyanth presents the core message of the scriptures in a simple and easy-to-assimilate style.
Sri Dushyanth is keen to ensure that the baton of Sanathana Dharma (Eternal Righteousness) is passed on to future generations. He is eloquent in using all forms of media – Movies, TV, dance dramas, debates, spiritual forums, social media – to promote the spiritual message effectively. He has won several awards and accolades, regularly organizes Spiritual Pilgrimage Tours, and has authored many books.
He is one of the very few Upanyasakarakas who has specialized in delivering musical discourses. He has come up with an e-learning curriculum for Vedic knowledge.
