A person is in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash in the Waikato town of Paeroa on Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to Thames Road just before 7am.
A helicopter, two ambulances and a rapid response unit were at the scene.
Police said the Serious Crash Unit had been notified and diversions would be in place.
