5. Giant Bubbles At Little Day Out

Be a part of an exhilarating day of family fun at the Mt Eden Village Centre! Dive into a world of bubbles and enjoy many activities designed for pre and primary school-aged children.

This free event features a weird and wonderful animal zoo, free pony rides, engaging crafts, a bake sale, a mesmerizing magic show with JP, a fascinating science display with Nano Girl, Junky Monkey play, live music, and much more!

Organized by the Mt Eden Methodist Church Charitable Trust, with generous support from Ray White Mt Eden, Foundation North, and Albert-Eden Local Board, this event celebrates our vibrant community. Don't miss out on this fantastic day out!

 

6. Nature In Nature - Dunkirk Road Playground

Join Out and About Auckland - Tāmaki Makaurau and Barefooted NZ for an exciting adventure at Dunkirk Road Playground! Immerse yourself in a sensory experience where you can connect with nature, Papatūānuku, and each other.

Nurture in Nature is a FREE event designed for children aged 0-6 years (although all ages are welcome!) to explore nature through play-based, sensory activities. Dive into a world of manu (birds), ngārara (insects), and ngahere (bush) as you engage your senses and develop a sense of kaitiakitanga (guardianship) for our environment.

Activities will focus on each of the five senses, offering a unique and interactive way to connect with the natural world. This event is proudly supported by the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board.

7. Bhangra Fit Saturdays at Zero 2 100 Gym Botany

Get ready to dance your way to fitness with Bhangra Fit, a high-energy cardio dance workout that guarantees to make you sweat while having a blast! Learn easy-to-follow moves to upbeat music and get ready to feel the burn! 

Join this Saturday from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at Zero 2 100 Gym Botany. Classes are only $12 each, or grab our 5-class pass for just $48!

Suitable for all fitness levels, no dance experience required. Bhangra Fit is not just fun, it's great for losing weight, building stamina, developing strength, and improving flexibility. Don't forget to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated!

Bhangra, a popular Indian dance form, has taken the world by storm with its upbeat music and rhythmic style. Bhangra Fit gives this traditional dance form a modern twist, blending traditional Bhangra moves into a full-body workout suitable for all ages and stages.
