Police are investigating an incident in the Auckland suburb of Flat Bush in which two people were allegedly assaulted by a group posing as Uber Eats drivers.
The incident occurred about 9.10pm on Sunday when a group reportedly forced entry into a home. According to police, those at the property claimed the offenders attempted to gain access by pretending to deliver Uber Eats orders.
Once inside, two occupants were punched, and their phones and a wallet were stolen.
Police confirmed enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
