Mumbai: Debutant Pune Warriors made a electrifying start to their Indian Premiere League (IPL) venture as they defeated Kings XI Punjab by seven wickets at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy on Sunday night.
Batting first, Punjab kept on losing wickets one after the other, as they could only make 112 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs.
Chasing the small target, Pune reached the winning score of 113 runs in just 13.1 overs and with seven wickets in hand.
