If you love Auckland and want to be involved in the decisions that will make it an amazing place to live, you should consider standing in next year’s local elections.
Nominations for candidates open on 16 July 2019 and voting is open from late September to 12 October 2019. While that might seem like a while away, if you’re interested in standing for office it’s a good idea to start making plans now.
There are a number of roles with varying time commitments and workloads. All of them will involve you in the key decision-making that will shape the future of Auckland and your local community.
