In heartbreaking news, popular travel influencer and photographer Anunay Sood has passed away at the age of 32, as confirmed on Thursday (November 6). The Dubai-based content creator, known for his stunning travel photography, had last shared a post from Las Vegas.
A statement posted on his official Instagram account earlier today read, “It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved Anunay Sood’s passing,” Times Now reported.
The news left fans and fellow creators stunned. Influencer Shanice Shrestha, a close friend of Anunay, shared in the comments section, “Rest in Peace Bhai❤️ it’s hard to believe since I found out last night… You will be missed deeply🙏🙏🙏.” She confirmed that Anunay passed away on November 5, 2025.
Anunay shared a close friendship with fellow travel creator Apoorva Mukhija (popularly known as Rebel Kid). The two were often seen travelling together to destinations like Bali and Gujarat, where they attended Garba nights and promoted tourism, Times Now reported.
Their last collaborative reel, humorously titled “That one couple who refuses to admit that they are a couple” remains a fan favourite. Despite their frequent collaborations, the two were not in a relationship.
As of now, Apoorva Mukhija has not commented on the tragic news.
In the official post, Anunay’s family expressed their grief and requested privacy, stating, “We kindly ask for your understanding and privacy as we navigate this difficult time. We humbly request that you avoid gathering crowds near personal property. Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.”
