Saturday’s Lotto draw brought big smiles for a lucky player in Te Awamutu, who has won $1 million in Lotto First Division.
According to a report by Stuff, the winning numbers drawn were 24, 39, 7, 18, 21 and 10. The bonus ball was 34, while the Powerball number was 4.
The $4 million Powerball jackpot was not struck, meaning the prize pool will climb to $5 million for Wednesday night’s draw, as reported by Stuff.
Despite the rollover, a ticket purchased at Fresh Choice Te Awamutu secured a $1 million win. In Auckland, another Lotto player claimed $400,000 after winning Strike Four, Stuff has reported.
Across the country, 15 players shared Lotto Second Division prizes of $15,520 each. The latest wins follow a major payout last Wednesday, when a Lotto player in Nelson took home a $16 million jackpot.
