Traffic slowed to a crawl on a major motorway in Wellington this morning following a two-vehicle crash involving a car and a truck.
According to a report by Stuff, police were alerted to reports of the accident at around 8.35 am and were at the scene on the Wellington Urban Motorway. One person is reported to have serious injuries.
Two lanes heading southbound are blocked near the Ngauranga Gorge off-ramp, causing significant congestion for commuters travelling into the city, as reported by Stuff.
Motorists are being advised to expect delays and consider alternative routes while emergency services manage the scene.
