A woman is facing the possibility of life imprisonment after she was allegedly found with 22kg of methamphetamine at Auckland International Airport.
According to a report by Stuff, the drugs were allegedly discovered inside the woman’s checked-in luggage after she arrived on a flight from Singapore on Sunday, court documents show.
She was scheduled to appear at the Manukau District Court on Monday afternoon, where she could face a maximum penalty of life imprisonment if convicted, Stuff has reported.
Customs NZ has been contacted for comment.
