Mathematica is the tuition place for young minds to be trained for mathematics at their own comfort and ease.
The private maths tuition school believes in simplifying mathematics, provides focused teaching and offers personalised support to improve outcomes and build confidence so that our students love math.
They offer group and personal tuitions to students of Year 6 to Year 13 (NCEA & Cambridge).
There are two sites in Auckland, 37 Taylor Street in Blockhouse Bay and the newly opened branch in the CBD on 25 Union Street.
The students feel comfortable in the class sessions as the class has a maximum six students in a group and even school groups enrol for group classes. Moreover, the tuition offers topic-wise courses, regular class tests and homework. The school informs the test results, student progress reports to their parents on a regular basis to keep track of their children.
“Our students are given individual attention and support after identifying their needs so that they can achieve their outcomes,” director of Mathematica Foram Rawal said.
The parents of the students are satisfied with the outcome of the classes and have witnessed positive changes in their children.
“Liam started maths tutoring this year March, he was terrified, unsure and had no confidence in his ability to pass this year, only obtaining not achieved or achieved in his first results. Since starting tutoring, he has become confident, has worked with Foram and now has achieved merit and an excellent result this term, as promised to me by Foram.
I am so grateful for all the extra tutoring and your valued time that you send with Liam, I'm preparing him for his upcoming NCEA,” Mrs Judy, guardian of Liam, said.
There are many other parents too who have expressed their satisfaction on the improvement in their child’s maths learning ability.
“Luckily, we were able to get in touch with the right person who could lead our son Kevin Anand to success. Kevin really enjoyed his one on one sessions with Foram.
Foram is always well prepared, organised and an amazing teacher, and he knew exactly what Kevin needed to do well in Maths. Not only is he a great tutor but he is also a very nice person. He really cares about his students, and he is very dedicated to helping students. We can see an increase in Kevin's confidence when doing Maths and an improvement in his understanding,” Mrs Navneet Kaur said about her experience with the school.
