Anzac Day is a time to reflect on the servicemen and servicewomen, past and present, who have displayed courage and self-sacrifice serving the country.

Services

Anzac Day services are being held across the Auckland region on Thursday 25 April 2019.

Prepare for your local service by downloading the programme (available here from 23 April) onto your phone or device.

When attending any service, it is strongly recommended to carry water oneself, wear a hat and make sure to put on a sunscreen.

Maori Television broadcast

If one canott attend an Anzac Day event in person, the Dawn Service in front of Auckland War Memorial Museum will be broadcast live on Maori Television.

Lights

Vector Lights on Auckland Harbour Bridge will shine to commemorate Anzac Day with a stunning light and sound show (23-25 April, 6pm-midnight). Visit vector.co.nz/lights for the accompanying audio track.

Auckland War Memorial Museum Tamaki Paenga Hira will also light up on on 23, 24 and 25 April for Anzac Day.
