RNZ reports that two people are in a serious condition following an assault in the Auckland suburb of Manukau on Tuesday evening.
Police said they were called to a disorder incident at the corner of Te Irirangi Drive and Great South Road at around 6.10pm.
Upon arrival, officers found two people with serious injuries. Authorities confirmed that the other parties involved had left the scene in a vehicle, and efforts are underway to locate them.
A police cordon has been set up outside a group of fast food outlets on Great South Road as investigations continue.
