The parents of British porn star Lily Phillips have made an emotional plea for their daughter to leave the adult industry, admitting her career has left them heartbroken and socially isolated,  the NZ Herald reported

According to a report by NZ Herald, Phillips, 24, rose to global notoriety after boasting about bedding 101 men in just 12 hours and has since built a lucrative career as part of a new wave of so-called “sexfluencers”. But while she has amassed millions of dollars and millions of followers, her parents say the fallout has been devastating for their family.

Speaking to journalist Stacey Dooley in the UK documentary Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, Phillips’ parents Emma and Lindsay said they initially tolerated her OnlyFans work, believing it was limited to lingerie and webcam performances. But as their daughter began filming increasingly extreme sex acts, including challenges involving dozens of men, they struggled to cope, the NZ Herald Reported.

“When it went to the next step, we were like, “no, no”, her mother said. Her father added, “If there’s anything we could do to change her profession, we’d do it overnight. It’s the degradingness of it and making sure she’s safe,” quoted the NZ Herald.

According to a report by the NZ Herald, the couple said they have lost friends, been shunned by neighbours, and accused of profiting from their daughter’s explicit career, accusations they strongly deny. “Sometimes we think, have we done anything wrong with her upbringing? As far as I’m concerned, we’ve had nothing but nice times and love,” her father said. He then turned to his daughter with a plea: “You could have everything you want, Lily, if you gave it all up now.”

The exchange left Phillips in tears, with the sex worker walking away from the conversation. Her mother later apologised for upsetting her, but her father revealed the family had even received anonymous phone calls wishing death upon their daughter, reported the NZ Herald.

Phillips admitted the confrontation was “really hard to listen to”, acknowledging that her parents never signed up for the scrutiny her career brought. “They don’t agree with everything I do, but I’m their daughter and they’ll love me forever,” she told The Sun.

Despite the family’s anguish, Phillips said she has no regrets. She revealed she was “obsessed with sex from a young age” and decided to monetise her lifestyle while studying at university. “I slept with hundreds of guys on nights out and thought, ‘I might as well get paid for this’, she said.

Now a self-proclaimed multimillionaire, Phillips admitted she wants to “slow down on the numbers” and channel her creativity into new projects, even suggesting an aerial stunt filmed on a plane.

The episode has divided viewers, with some criticising Dooley for giving the controversial star a platform. One social media user called it “a regression in content”, while another labelled it “clickbait entertainment”, the NZ Herald reported.

For Phillips, however, the spotlight and its consequences, show little sign of fading.
