Ingredients
8- chicken drumsticks -skinless
7 tbsp- cream
6tbsp- plain yogurt
4tbsp- lemon juice
2 1/2tsp- ginger paste
2 1/2tsp- garlic paste
1tsp- red chilli powder
1tsp- garam masala powder
1tsp- cumin powder
1tsp- coriander powder
1 drop orange food colour
Salt according to taste
Oil for brushing
2- lemons cut into wedges
Method
Wash, skinned chicken, prick the flesh of the chicken all over with a fork or using a sharp knife cut slashes in the flesh for the
chicken to marinate.
In a bowl combine yogurt, cream, ginger paste, garlic paste, garam masala, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, orange colour, salt and lemon juice.
Mix and pour the mixture over the chicken and rub it into the flesh with your hands, turning the chicken several times. Cover and refrigerate for 8-10 hours or overnight.
Pre heat oven at 200c.
Keep a silver foil on a baking tray, place the drumsticks on it, cook turning once or twice for 30-50 minutes until the juices run clear
when a piece is pierced near the bone with a knife. Brush with oil during the cooking process.
Serve with lemon wedges.
Note: There can be variations in the temperature of the oven and time
of cooking according to different ovens.
