INGREDIENTS
500gm- mutton (with bones)
1- onion chopped
3- green chillies paste
3/4cup- plain yogurt beaten
2tsp- ginger paste
2tsp- garlic paste
4- green cardamom
2- bay leaves
2- cloves
2- cinnamon sticks
1tsp- red chilli powder
1tsp- garam masala powder
6or7- saffron strends
2 tbsp - milk
1tbsp- coriander chopped
salt according to taste
4tbsp- ghee or oil
METHOD
Add milk to the saffron and keep it aside.
Heat oil in a wok. Add green cardamom, cloves, bay leaves, cinnamon stick when they start to crackle add chopped onion. When the onions are brown add green chilli paste stir and add garlic paste, ginger paste saute until the moisture has evaporated. Add beaten yoghurt, stir, when oil comes on the top, add red chilli powder and salt
Add mutton pieces, stir and then add 1 cup water and bring it to a boil.
Add garam masala and cook until the mutton is done.
Add saffron and stir.
Serve with chopped coriander on top.
