Tokoroa Police has appealed the public to help identify two men who robbed the Kelso Street Superette in Tokoroa, a small town in the Waikato region on Friday, September 15.
The men entered the store at around 7.30 p.m. armed with a handgun and threatened the store attendant to give money from the counter.
The duo left with cash, cigarettes and tobacco.
Although no one was injured during the robbery, the store attendant was left shaken after the incident.
As per reports one of the male offenders was wearing a green hoodie jacket and holding a blue bag and the other was wearing black and holding the gun.
“Police want to hear from anyone who was in the Superette at the time,” Police has appealed.
