Police has released the name of a 59-year old name killed at a workplace incident on Friday, June 9 in Rollestone, Christchurch.
Dayal Parbhu Patel died at the scene after being trapped under a beam at around 12:30 p.m. in the afternoon. The accident took place at the Pegasus Engineering, in the Izone Business Hub, Rolleston.
Mr Patel's funeral was done earlier last week.
WorkSafe was notified of the incident and is investigating the accident.
The Police has offered their sympathies to the friends and family of Mr Patel at this tragic time. More details to come.
