A new social organisation, New Zealand Brahman Samaj has been incorporated as a society in Auckland with the registered address at 528 Massey Road, Mangere. It is proposed to move for its registration as a charitable organization shortly.
The main objectives of the newly-formed organisation are to provide a platform for all members of the Brahman community of New Zealand to meet, know each other and develop relationship with a view to promote rich cultural heritage enjoyed historically by the community. Membership is open to all Brahmans irrespective of their place of origin, says the organisation’s news release.
