Another young Indian life was tragically cut short on the New Zealand road, thus bringing more grief to the Indian community.

It was not even a fortnight before that the Indian Weekender has covered a story about the death of 2 Indian nationals in road accidents.

Just now we have received reports of another tragic death of Mandeep Singh, a 23-year-old farm worker on Kakepuku Rd.

This tragic mishap is reported to have occurred on Sunday, October 2 at 10 p.m. when his Subaru stationwagon was found upright in a ditch on the side of the rural road.

The mishap occurred around Te Awamutu, a small service town for the surrounding farming communities in the Waikato region.

Police are still investigating possible causes of accident

Three fire crews from Te Awamutu attended the crash, along with a specialist lighting unit, which was required to light the incident area.

Mandeep Singh was on a work visa.

More details are awaited. Indian Weekender is further investigating this tragic incident and will appreciate if readers have any inputs about the incident.
