Indian Weekender is New Zealand’s leading Indian community paper. With a track record of stories that touch people’s lives, it has made its mark through connecting with the community and highlighting issues that matter most. To augment our editorial team, we need talented writers and reporters. So, if you have the skill, we want to hear from you.
Eligibility: A passion for storytelling and plenty of energy. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The role involves working to deadlines, interacting with a wide range of people and reporting. Knowledge of Indian languages is desirable, but not essential.
Entry: Email a sample of your writing (no more than 600 words in length) to shriya@indianweekender.co.nz and answer why you are the right person to write for the Indian Weekender. Additionally, attach a short CV with your application.
