If you have just recovered from the bouts of laughter from the Paresh Rawal play, or you had missed it, then don’t be sad, as another masterpiece is coming your way. ABC entertainment is coming back with a smashing hit comedy play – Gujjubhai Ni Golmaal.
The Gujarati play is Directed and Enacted by Siddharth Randeria, who is often described as the top star of the Gujarati stage. Gujjubhai Ni Golmaal, is part of the ‘GUJJUBHAI’ series, and is a rollercoaster ride of laughter.
This play premiered in Mumbai on 16th June and is now coming to Auckland on 20th July. This will be the International Premier for the play, as it plans to go around the world after staging it in Auckland.
Siddharth Randeria is a Gujarati actor, who has been described as "the superstar of the Gujarati drama". He is known for his Gujarati comedy plays. Tickets of his plays sell out within hours of the box-office opening. He has won multiple awards as a writer, director and actor. Some of the very well known plays are: Lo Gujjubhai Ghode Chadya & Lage Raho Gujjubhai (records holder on Guajarati stage for completing over 700 shows in a little over 2 years) Bas Kar Bakula, Carry On Lalu, Pati Ne Naame patangiyu, Prem no public issue, etc.
Siddharth has also acted in a number of Bollywood movies including Khal Nayak and Shortkut as well as in a number of TV serials such as Waqt Ki Raftar and Kudkudiya House No. 43 among others. He is the son of well-known Gujarati writer and stage personality, the late Madhukar Randeria.
Other well-known Gujarati drama artists like Tejal Vyas, Juthika Shah & Chitrak Shah are also taking part in to this comedy drama. Some of them are now famous television personalities in India.

Synopsis
Every man hopes to make his dreams a reality. Arvind Vakharia, is not your everyman. Left to his own, Arvind is a simpleton who would gladly spend his life being an average unambitious man, but fate has never been kind to him. Surrounded by an overbearing wife, his mother in law and his nincompoop brother in law, Arvind strives day and night to fulfil their ever-increasing demands.
Burdened by the responsibility of being a good husband, Arvind tries every shortcut to make a quick buck to fill the money pit, that is his marriage, which always backfires. After falling for various ponzi schemes and other scams, our simple minded Arvind asks for some divine intervention to help mke his wife’s dreams come true. Fate smiles but even divine forces have a sense of humour. As the story progresses, Arvind finds new challenges thrown at him from his family and god.
A fantastical ride where you never know what to expect next, as Arvind falls deeper and deeper into the trap he has laid himself, only to realize that greed has no limits.
