Bank of Baroda (New Zealand) Ltd, the first Indian bank to venture into New Zealand banking sector has opened its second branch in Wellington recently.
As part of their expansion plans the branch is operational in Wellington at Asteron Centre. Bank of Baroda is one of the big Indian banks which provides services like money transfer to India with No service fee.
Bank management had earlier this year announced to open up branches in Wellington and South Auckland after an overwhelming response from its customers. Wellington Branch has been made operational and Manuku, South Auckland branch will be operational soon.
‘We are happy to announce that after getting a great response from our customers in Auckland, we will be serving our customers in Wellington’ said Mr Navin Chandra Upreti, Manaaging Director, Bank of Baroda (New Zealand). The new branch became operational from 2nd April, 2012.
