National List Member of Parliament Kanwaljit Singh Bakshi is making good progress after his cardiac surgery on Friday morning.
His family told Indian Weekender that the medical procedure went well and that he was now recovering well at the intensive cardiac care centre at the Mercy hospital where the surgical procedure was also carried out.
Mr Bakshi is on medical leave from Parliament for six weeks.
Indian Weekender wishes him a speedy recovery.
