An exciting dance extravaganza is shaping up to be held in Auckland in September.
Ace Talent Promotions will present "Desi Intermediate Dance Off” on September 3 at the ASB Stadium in Kohimarama.
This is the second year of the successful show, organiser Azhar Adam Ali said.
“Last year we saw the show’s success with 15 schools taking the stage, with a record turnout of parents and supporters.”
Glenfield Intermediate, Papatoetoe Intermediate and Bucklands Beach Intermediate were last year’s winners.
Ali said they wanted to provide a platform for budding dancers. “Dancing builds self-esteem and confidence.”
“I was a shy person myself,” Ali said. “That was until I started dancing. We were blown away by the performances as each school brought an x-factor with their gigs.”
Like last year, Azhar and his crew will do the opening.
“We look forward to an even better show this year,” Ali said.
He said they kept tickets prices at just $10 so that the show was accessible to everybody.
Major sponsors are: B&B Holdings Ltd, The Sign Factory, Amcal Pharmacy, and GAS Otahuhu.
