The Defence Force has been called to a warehouse at Auckland Airport after a suspicious package was found.
Police said it was identified during routine scanning.
The building is separate to the airport terminals and Auckland Airport said no flights were affected.
Staff working at the warehouse had been evacuated.
Some roads near the building had been blocked off, but access to the airport was not affected.
