There are 6242 new community cases of Covid-19, as officials report an additional 11 deaths. These deaths take the total number of publicly reported deaths with Covid-19 to 597.
There are 553 people in hospital with the virus – 23 of whom are in intensive care or high dependency care units, the Ministry of Health said on Monday afternoon.
The Ministry of Health said the seven-day rolling average of case numbers was on the decline, with today's seven-day rolling average at 7986 - last Monday it was 10,169.
Yesterday, there were ten new deaths reported, and 5933 new community cases reported.
