A 24-year-old has been charged with murder after a man was fatally shot in the Auckland suburb of Avondale yesterday.
Police were called to a street when gunshots were heard early yesterday morning.
The found a wounded man who later died in hospital.
The 24-year-old man faces charges including murder and the supply of drugs as well as firearms charges.
A 20-year-old woman has been charged with being an accessory to murder, drug supply and attempting to dissuade witnesses.
They will appear in court tomorrow.
