5 new cases in community reported in 24 hours, none imported

Dr Ashley Bloomfield addressing the media today announced five new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. There were no cases from managed isolation facilities. 

Four of the five new cases reported today are from the Auckland community cluster and one is from Tokoroa and receiving care at Waikato Hospital.

There are a total of 133 people from the Auckland cluster have been moved into quarantine facilities, of which, 65 are positive cases. 

There are six people receiving hospital-level care - one is in Auckland City Hospital, and four in Middlemore and one in Waikato. One person at Middlemore is in ICU but in a stable condition.

New Zealand now has a total of 1304 cases till date, of which 101 are now active.
