Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield announced 15 new cases today, that includes 6 confirmed and 9 probable. This brings total Covid-19 cases in New Zealand to 1401. 770 people have recovered so far, 42 from yesterday.
A total of 70160 tests have been done with 3361 tests done yesterday alone.
Cabinet ministers will decide on Monday whether to ease the tight restrictions when the initial four-week lockdown period ends on Wednesday night.
However, experts say they need more data before a decision is made.
More to come.
