It is a time for new beginnings and seeking positivity in all spheres of life. Organised by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Auckland, the event aims to provide Aucklanders the opportunity to experience one of India’s most popular festivals. This is also an opportunity to learn about Krishna Consciousness and vegetarianism.
With ISKCON devotees from Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, Masterton, Palmerston North, Otaki and Auckland attending, the celebration includes music, face painting, food stalls, children’s activities, and drama.
