Enjoy the colors of Holi with your family and Auckland Hare Krishna devotees at Sri Sri Radha Giridhari Temple on Saturday, March 31.
This fun filled day promises to be memorable for families and one that everyone will treasure and remember for years. The tranquil and peaceful Sri Sri Radha Giridhari Temple, 1229 Riverhead Highway, Riverhead, in Auckland is the perfect setting to mark the beginning of the spring as per the Hindu calendar. It is a time for new beginnings and seeking positivity in all spheres of life. Organised by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Auckland, the event aims to provide Aucklanders the opportunity to experience one of India’s most popular festivals. This is also an opportunity to learn about Krishna Consciousness and vegetarianism.
With ISKCON devotees from Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, Masterton, Palmerston North, Otaki and Auckland attending, the celebration includes music, face painting, food stalls, children’s activities, and drama.
