Free immigration help for students

Are you an international student living in Auckland and facing immigration difficulties or are confused about some residency issues?

There is help at hand – free.

The Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) International Students Service has specialist lawyers who hold free clinics every Wednesday in Auckland City.

The specialists are there to advise on:

• when you have unintentionally done something wrong with your visa/permit and the mistake needs to be corrected urgently;


• when your situation leaves you in some doubts about the validity of your current visa/permit;


• when you are not sure if you can apply for some other visa/permit;


• when you want to know whether you qualify for work or residence permit.

The service is an Auckland City Council funded free, confidential and impartial service.
