Actor Shahid Kapoor and Delhi girl Mira Rajput tied the knot on Tuesday in a low-key ceremony at a farmhouse on New Delhi's outskirts after months of speculation surrounding their nuptials. The wedding ceremony was attended only by close relatives and friends, and a grand celebration took place in Mumbai at the wedding reception.

The much-guarded wedding was attended by around 40 to 50 guests, according to sources.

The celebrations started on Monday evening with a sangeet ceremony, where Shahid was seen shaking a leg with Mira on the hit wedding song "Saj dhaj ke" from his film "Mausam". This was leaked via a video, which went viral online.

After their wedding on Tuesday morning, the couple also attended a celebratory lunch with their families. They changed their ensembles, and while Shahid opted for a pristine white sherwani designed by Kunal Rawal, Mira looked elegant and resplendent in a light pink and silver embroidered lehenga with a veil over her head.

On the career front, Shahid will next be seen in Vikas Bahl's "Shaandaar" opposite Alia Bhatt and in "Udta Punjab", which is produced by Vikramaditya Motwane.

Meanwhile, he will also be seen making his debut on the small screen as a judge on the celebrity dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded". This leaves no time for a honeymoon for Mrs. & Mr. Kapoor.
