Suva: Fiji has the potential to compete against international countries in terms of quality performance according to Mark One Apparel Managing Director, Mark Halabe.
The head of the apparel giant has urged the business community in the country to continue improving performance for everyone’s benefit.
Mr Halabe said the nation’s different sectors are efficient enough to prove to their overseas counterparts and its customers that Fiji can handle the complexity involved in a competitive market.
Halabe says Mark One Apparel recently and successfully exported its first consignment to the United Kingdom.
“Our exchange rate is to our advantage, our workforces are educated and we have enough momentum in the Fiji economy to make Fiji great,” Mr. Halabe said.
Speaking at the recent Fiji Business Excellence Awards, Halabe added that what makes the company great could also make a nation great.
