New Delhi: Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare on Friday said that he will continue to campaign for a strong Lokpal Bill till the Lok Sabha elections in 2014.

While addressing at the India Today Conclave in the national capital, the Gandhian social activist said if a proper legislation is not passed by the Parliament by that time, he will start a stronger campaign soon after the declaration of poll dates.

Hazare strongly said that the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government will have to pass a strong Lokpal Bill or they have to 'go'.

First proposed in 1968, the Lokpal Bill, that proposes to set up an unified ombudsman body, has been pushed back by reluctant administrations for over four decades until the prolonged campaign led by Hazare and his group brought the issue to the centre-stage last year.
