Three Lotto players have struck it lucky, each taking home $333,333 in Saturday night’s live Lotto First Division draw.
According to a report by Stuff, the winning tickets were sold at Highpoint Temptations Lotto in Auckland, Gull Edgecumbe in Edgecumbe, and through MyLotto to a player based in Taranaki.
Powerball was not won in Saturday’s draw and has rolled over to Wednesday night, with the jackpot now sitting at $5 million. Strike Four also rolled over and will be worth $700,000 in the next draw.
Meanwhile, 13 players celebrated wins in Lotto Second Division, each receiving $17,722. The winning tickets were sold across Auckland, Te Kūiti, Hastings, Palmerston North, Lower Hutt, Ashburton, and Canterbury, Stuff has reported.
According to Stuff, Lotto officials are urging anyone who bought a ticket from these locations or online to check their tickets as soon as possible, either in-store, on MyLotto, or via the MyLotto App.
Tonight’s winning numbers were 16, 40, 1, 21, 3, and 13. The Bonus Ball was 38, while the Powerball number was 3.
The latest results follow a major win earlier in the week, when a player from Otago claimed $5.3 million after winning Powerball First Division in Wednesday’s live draw. That winning ticket was purchased online through MyLotto and included $5 million from Powerball First Division and $333,333 from Lotto First Division, as reported by Stuff.
Wednesday’s winner marked the second Powerball multi-millionaire of the year, coming just a week after a player from Manawatū-Whanganui won $10.2 million in the previous Powerball draw.
