Police and family members are appealing for information about a woman reported missing near Queenstown last week.
According to a report by 1News, Erika was last seen at Skippers Saddle near Coronet Peak on Friday, September 18. Police said they and her family were concerned about her welfare and wanted her to return home.
"Police and her family have concerns for her welfare and would like to see her return home," Southern District Police said in a social media post.
Erika is of Brazilian descent and has dark curly hair. She is also known to typically wear glasses.
When she was last seen, she was wearing a black hat, tan-brown puffer jacket, black tights and hiking boots. She was driving a white Toyota RAV4 rental car with the registration RKM122, as reported by 1News.
Search and rescue volunteers have been working in the Skippers Road and Mount Dewar areas as efforts to locate her continue.
"Enquiries so far haven't located her," police said, 1News has quoted.
Police are urging anyone who may have seen Erika, her vehicle or knows about her whereabouts or movements to come forward.
"If you have seen Erika, the car mentioned above or know her whereabouts or movements, please call 105," as quoted by 1News.
