In his visit to Haryana today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in a series of significant cultural and spiritual events in the holy land of Kurukshetra, Akashvani News reported.
The Prime Minister will attend a special ceremony at Jyotisar to mark the 350th anniversary of the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, where he will release a special coin and a commemorative postage stamp in honour of the revered Sikh Guru.
According to a report by Akashvani News, Mr Modi will inaugurate the newly constructed Panchjanya Memorial dedicated to the sacred conch of Lord Krishna and visit the Mahabharata Anubhav Kendra in Jyotisar. Haryana Governor Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh will preside over the inauguration ceremony, with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini also present.
Mr Modi will also offer prayers at the sacred Brahma Sarovar during his visit.
