The Men’s Selection Committee has announced the India and India A squads for the upcoming tour of New Zealand, with the senior team set to play five T20 Internationals and the A side scheduled to feature in three multi-day matches against New Zealand A.
The squads for the ODI and Test series will be announced at a later date.
Shreyas Iyer has been named captain of India’s 16-member T20I squad, with Tilak Varma appointed vice-captain. The squad also includes Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Ishan Kishan.
Axar Patel, Shivam Dube, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Naman Dhir feature among the all-round options, while Prince Yadav and Mayank Yadav are also included. The bowling attack comprises Arshdeep Singh, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Varun Chakaravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav.
Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan have been named wicketkeepers.

Dhruv Jurel has been appointed captain of the India A squad for the three multi-day matches against New Zealand A. The 15-member squad features experienced players Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul, alongside Devdutt Padikkal, Ravichandran Smaran and Sai Sudarsan.
Rishabh Pant has also been included as a wicketkeeper, subject to fitness, while Jurel will serve as both captain and wicketkeeper.
The squad's bowling options include Washington Sundar, Auqib Nabi, Akash Deep, Anshul Kamboj, Manav Suthar, Mukesh Choudhary and Mukesh Kumar. Yash Rathod also features in the line-up.

India A will begin its campaign against New Zealand A on October 24 in Lincoln. The second match will take place in Christchurch from October 31 to November 3, followed by the third match in Lincoln from November 7 to 10.

The tour will provide opportunities for the senior squad in the shortest format and for India A players to compete in multi-day cricket. Further details regarding the ODI and Test squads are expected to be announced separately.
