The latest episode of Bigg Boss 19 turned fiery as host Salman Khan pulled up contestants for their double standards, while also delivering a sharp remark that many interpreted as a swipe at former US President Donald Trump.
During his address, Salman said, “Ye kya ho raha hai poori duniya mein. Jo sabse zyada trouble phaila rahe hain, unhi ko peace prize chahiye.”
The comment instantly drew attention on social media, with viewers linking it to global debates surrounding Trump’s reported bid for a Nobel Peace Prize.
Inside the house, tensions reached a peak when a heated argument between Neelam Giri and Zeeshan Quadri spiraled further after Farhana Bhatt intervened.
Farhana lashed out at Neelam, calling her “2 kaudi ki aurat” and “Kunickaa ki chamchi.” The remarks left Neelam in tears, prompting Salman to step in.
Questioning Farhana’s self-proclaimed image as a “peace activist,” Salman asked, “Farhana, kisi angle se peace activist lagti hain? Aapka ego itna bada hai.
Neelam kyu deserve karti hain ‘2 kaudi ki’ kehlana? You are a woman, and you are saying these things about another woman?”
Through his reprimand, Salman emphasized the need for contestants to align their actions with the ideals they claim to uphold, stressing that respect and boundaries cannot be compromised in the name of competition.
Salman’s comments carried echoes of ongoing international developments. According to a New York Times report, Trump had earlier approached Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking support for a Nobel Peace Prize nomination linked to the India-Pakistan ceasefire.
PM Modi, however, reportedly declined, clarifying that the ceasefire was a mutual decision between the two nations.
