Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar recently found himself answering a question that most stars prefer to dodge, Who is his favourite heroine?
The moment came during his appearance on Rajat Sharma’s show Aap Ki Adalat, where he was promoting his latest release Jolly LLB 3 alongside Arshad Warsi. At first, Akshay tried to play it safe, noting, “Meri favourite heroine… actually maine sabhi ke saath kaam kiya hua hai (I have worked with everyone in the industry),” as quoted by Hindustan Times.
But after a brief pause, the actor didn’t hesitate to give a name, Katrina Kaif.
The choice hardly comes as a surprise. Akshay and Katrina’s pairing has been one of Bollywood’s most successful on-screen partnerships, with eight films together. Their journey began with Humko Deewana Kar Gaye (2006) and soared with hits like Namastey London and Welcome (2007), Singh is Kinng (2008), and comedies such as De Dana Dan (2009) and Tees Maar Khan (2010). After more than a decade apart, the duo reunited in Rohit Shetty’s blockbuster Sooryavanshi (2021).
While Akshay continues his packed film schedule, Katrina has been prioritising her beauty brand and has also made headlines recently amid reports of her expecting her first child with Vicky Kaushal.
